We hope to encourage more planting of heirloom corn. There is a growing marketplace for non-GMO corn and California is well suited to corn crops. Our neighbors Arizona and Mexico are supporting heirloom seed saving and growing of Oaxacan and Native American varieties. Small acreage in California has been devoted to Bloody Butcher and Floriani.
